Design

I manage the website of two newspapers: The MoCo Student and The Pitch, and the website of an organization I founded, Simply Soft Skills. 

 

My first experience with design was when I founded Simply Soft Skills in September of 2021. I learned how to create and design a website (simplysoftskills.org) and focused on developing a user-friendly website design that allows smooth navigation and an enjoyable reading experience. I’m familiar with the platform of WordPress and the software and programming language of HTML and JavaScript. I regularly maintain and update the website and work to share articles and posts through social media, including Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest. 

 

Since May 2023, I’ve been managing the website designs of my school and county newspaper. I’ve worked in WordPress and SNO Flow to ensure our websites are easy to navigate, organized, and visually pleasing. For example, here are screenshots of the websites:
